Necklace Length Guide
Which length suits you? Choose the right necklace length for your neckline and style.
How to measure
Take a tape measure or a piece of string, wrap it comfortably around your neck and note the measurement. Add 5–15 cm depending on where you want the necklace to sit. If your neck measures 35 cm, a 45 cm chain will rest at the collarbone.
Choosing by neckline
V-neck: 45–50 cm follows the line of the neckline beautifully. Turtleneck: 60–70 cm elongates and layers well. Shirt or blouse: 40–45 cm sits elegantly within the collar. Strapless: a 40 cm choker highlights the neck.
Layering
When wearing several necklaces together, leave at least 5 cm between lengths so each piece has its own space. A 40 + 45 + 55 cm trio creates a balanced stack. Balance fine chains with one bolder piece.
Adjusting length
